Direct negotiation: underused on Etsy
Unlike a large retailer, Etsy's messaging system lets you contact a seller directly before buying — to ask for a discount on a bulk order, a custom production timeline, or a bundle of items. Many sellers, especially for handmade or personalized items, are happy to work something out.
